Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, during her last year, she was able to make her debut as an actor (and Lighting Designer) in the SSC's King Lear.
