Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She was also a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, reveals an easy and straightforward methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell also worked at the top New York establishments, learned about Italian cuisine and its traditions as well as competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in the Upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion of cooking and food at a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was the catalyst for her passion for the management of restaurants after she graduated with the English and Communications degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The student says "I loved being a Culinary Institute of American student. I was awed by every moment." I could not study or accomplish enough. After graduation, Burrell spent one year studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working at Umbria's La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. When she was in Italy she gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian cuisine. This had an enormous influence on her perception of food. Burrell was an Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to improve the lives of kids who are facing difficulties. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation celebrity ambassador and advocates awareness of children's diabetes.
