Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She has been featured on a range of TV shows and films throughout her career. She began as a model, but once she was recognized internationally, she decided to try acting. Her acting debut came by appearing in the television show of 1995 called 'Baywatch Nights. Apart from voice work, Harmon has voiced an animated version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Harmon made the decision in 2000 to concentrate on film and stop working with TV series. Then, in the beginning of 2000, Harmon returned to television shows after a brief stint in films. The year 2008 saw her being one of a handful of actors to be photographed discreetly naked in 'Allure Magazine'. Her major work has been as Detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. The show was praised in her role as a detective, and won accolades. Her work as a detective has garnered many nominations over the years. She has also won a few distinctions.
